21st CCLC's Vision, Mission, & Goal
The Mission of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Program is to provide extended learning opportunities in a safe, drug-free environment, in partnership with the local  community to provide parents and children resources to support their educational and societal needs to enable them to become life-long learners.
It is our goal to increase academic performance but also enhance each child’s experience by offering them a variety of experiences that will broaden their learning and ultimately boost their confidence and self-esteem.
‍‍Vision - to develop high-quality out-of-school time programs that provide services to children and families in the community.
Mission - to be an integral part of a complementary learning system, intentionally integrating out-of-school time that reinforces the school day academic program to ensure the academic success of all students.
Goal - to provide homework help and academic enrichment that lead to educational development for children and families. The intent of the program is to enrich the student's overall learning within their classroom. We provide programming that includes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) activities, Fine Arts, Music, Health & Fitness, Career Exploration, Homework help, and mentoring and tutoring. All of these activities and more are designed to reinforce and complement the school-day academic program of the students.
